Safeguarding
Building Cultures of Protection, Accountability, and Trust

Our safeguarding support is designed to help organizations prevent harm, respond ethically to safeguarding concerns, and uphold the dignity and rights of survivors. We work closely with partners to strengthen policies, improve reporting systems, and build a culture where accountability and protection are part of everyday practice.
Policy Development and Review
Effective safeguarding begins with clear and practical policies. We support organizations to design, review, and strengthen safeguarding policies that align with international standards while remaining relevant to the organization’s context and operations. Our approach ensures that policies are easy to understand, actionable, and integrated into daily organizational practice. This helps teams understand their responsibilities and creates a strong foundation for prevention and accountability.
Receiving and Handling of Cases
For safeguarding systems to work, individuals must be able to report concerns safely and confidentially. We support organizations to establish reporting mechanisms that are accessible, trusted, and responsive. Our work focuses on building case management processes that prioritize safety, confidentiality, and fairness. These systems ensure that concerns are handled carefully, survivors are protected, and organizations are able to respond in a timely and responsible manner.
Investigations
When safeguarding concerns arise, investigations must be conducted with integrity and care. We support organizations to carry out investigations that are fair, ethical, and respectful to all involved. Our approach emphasizes professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity to the experiences of survivors. Investigations are conducted in a manner that protects the rights of those involved while ensuring that concerns are addressed thoroughly and responsibly.
Survivor Support
A survivor centered approach is essential in safeguarding work. Organizations must ensure that individuals who report harm receive support that respects their choices, safety, and confidentiality. We help strengthen referral pathways and support systems so survivors can access appropriate services such as medical care, psychosocial support, and legal assistance. By prioritizing survivor dignity and agency, organizations can respond in ways that promote healing and trust.
Safeguarding Training
Policies and systems are only effective when people understand and apply them. We deliver practical safeguarding training that builds awareness, strengthens accountability, and promotes a culture of responsibility across teams. Our training equips staff and partners with the knowledge and confidence to recognize risks, prevent harm, and respond appropriately when concerns arise.
Through these services, we help organizations create environments where safeguarding is not just a policy but a shared commitment to protecting people and upholding their dignity.
